The Personal Assistant position is a varied & versatile role that is an excellent way to gain experience in the TV industry. You will work across Initial to provide administrative support & will assist across the department in a wide variety of ways. These include taking part in programme run – throughs, setting up rehearsals, assisting with putting together documents. Your Personal Assistant experience will be used to help assist the Managing Directors & Head of Production to make the best use of their time.


• Help to put together presentations and documents
• Assist with the social media for the company
• Organise travel and accommodation for MDs & HOP & team if required
• Set up meetings as required – booking meeting rooms, organising any equipment required (eg. conference call facilities) & sending out meeting requests via Outlook
• Organise work phones and laptops if required. Liaise with IT/ facilities regarding any technical problems
• Organise lunches. If MDs/HOP are stuck in meetings – the assistant should think ahead to take lunch orders before the meeting
• Manage MD & HOP expenses
• Order floats from purchase ledger, manage the department float / petty cash, reconcile all receipts on PMI and keep float log updated
• Ability to work using own initiative as well with others in a team
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook are essential. Training provided if necessary
