Our client is a global Media Group

The group head up four Media Agencies who have  market-leading capabilities in Digital Transformation, Creative Solutions, Investment, and Futures. With numerous Agency and Network of the Year accolades, they are known for our excellence in the industry.

In alignment with the Media Group’s People Strategy;

  1. You will be the operational people partner towards the Central leadership team, delivering against the People strategy, thereby improving the quality of business decisions and driving business value
  2. You will translate strategic objectives into effective people plans
  3. You will support business transformation; building a truly welcoming, inclusive and progressive culture – one where everyone believes they have the opportunity to thrive and develop their careers.
Responsibilities:
  • Implement people strategies, plans and solutions that enable business priorities and contribute to building a positive culture
  • Advocate and champion the HR Service Delivery model across UK, overseeing launch and stakeholder communications for first half of 2024 to drive service excellence.
  • Be an ambassador for continuous learning. Working in partnership with their Talent CoE, to facilitate delivery of the group’s learning offerings to support career growth, progression, build experiences and grow manager capability
  • Manage projects and initiatives that benefit the business increasing collaboration, employee engagement, leadership effectiveness and business performance
  • Coach and advise line managers and leaders, providing recommendations that improve performance, employee retention and overall employee experience
  • Analyse and report on people data, providing insight, trends and recommendations on key areas of focus
  • Drive functional, cyclical people processes and initiatives, including the performance and compensation review process, talent mapping and the employee engagement survey
  • Work in Partnership with their internal Talent Acquisition Team, ensuring both internal mobility and external recruitment needs are supported and managed effectively and efficiently
  • A figurehead and ambassador of the UK culture; lead with empathy, inclusion and compassion. Champion inclusivity throughout everything they as a team and agency do and actively contribute to at least one of our OPEN (Diversity and Inclusion) taskforces
  • Coach, develop and guide junior team members across the  Group
 What you’ll bring to the role:
  • HR Business Partnering experience – being able to operate at a high level of competence both strategically and operationally, with a commercial mindset
  • CIPD qualified with a high level of employment law knowledge, as well as practical ER application and experience
  • Able to build strong relationships with People Partners and work in partnership to execute the Group’s UK people strategy (where applicable)
  • Have gravitas and be able to develop trusted partnerships with leaders, providing thought leadership, challenge, and solutions-focused coaching and advice across the full employee life cycle
  • A team player with excellent management skills and a proven ability to inspire and motivate others
  • Self-driven, solutions focused with a drive to understand and work through the people opportunities and challenges in our business
  • Empathetic, approachable, open-minded and able to build credibility quickly
  • Excellent communication skills and an ability to influence at all levels
  • Comfort in analysing people metrics and providing advice to the business on how best to move forwards as a result of any analysis
