A truly all-encompassing role for an experienced Office Manager looking for a new role within PR.
You will have an interest in business finances and experience in managing internal financial systems and using financial reporting packages such as Sage; will have several years’ experience of running and managing an office or large team; a track record of successfully dealing and negotiating with suppliers; be organised and have experience of planning and running events; be meticulous in attention to detail and enthusiastic in everything they do.
You will be wholly responsible for managing the Office Administrator and will be able to delegate tasks as appropriate. You will report in to the Chief Executive and other Directors.
You will take the lead on planning, preparing and running all marketing events. You (with the help of the Administrator) will be responsible for finding venues, building relationships with suppliers, securing good rates, designing and sending invitations and securing attendees. You will also be responsible for running the events on the day.
You will be able to bring with you five or more years’ relevant experience. Strong office management, secretarial, IT (advanced PowerPoint is a must) and organisational skills essential. You will also be an efficient, well organised, keen and dynamic self-starter with lots of energy, a positive attitude and a willingness to muck in and learn. You will also need to be flexible and happy to work in a small but growing business.
